This piece is an exploration of form and texture, sculpted with the intention to capture the essence of organic growth through the medium of pigmented plaster. Its ombré effect adds dimension and complexity, reminiscent of geological strata or the gentle kiss of a setting sun on a rugged landscape. The extreme texture, tactile and inviting feels almost as if it has been molded by the forces of nature rather than the artist’s hand.
