About the Item
This is a register of European goldsmiths, silversmiths, Jewellers, Watchmakers and clockmakers in India and their marks 1760-1860. Containing a register of over 900 Europeans who worked in India, with details of their marks, working dates and further biographical details where it is useful. 230 pages with more than 150 illustrations including many of marks which have not previously been ascribed or have been incorrect. This is book was published in a limited edition of only 1,000 copies.
