About the Item
Chinese pink ginger jar. Crafted in China in the 1980s
A bold and modern iteration of the classic styles of Chinese ginger jars. Decorated with large stylised peony flowers, coloured in lavender and pink hues and accented with cool mint green foliage. The floral scene emboldened against a hand brushed luminous pink glazed backdrop.
The large ginger jar measures 17cm in diameter, with a height of 20cm. The large bulbous body of the jar, alongside the bright pink enamels, make this a real eye-catching; almost kitsch piece. An ideal piece of decorative porcelain to inject a pop of bold colour into your room.
It comes in good condition, no chips or cracks - there is some oxidation to the porcelain around the ginger jar's lip - please refer to the images.
