Vintage Chinese Jingdezhen Porcelain 'Famille Noire' Ginger Jars - Set of 3

About the Item

A set of three small vintage ginger jars crafted in the Jingdezhen region of China in the 1970s. This miniature trio is decorated in the ‘Famille Noire’ style, a style originating from the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty. The Chinese porcelain jars are decorated with a sea of blooming peony flowers alongside lush greenery and foliage. Hand painted and realized in a bold and colourful palette of deep pinks, lavender blues, and greens, all wonderfully enhanced against a dark sky of deep black enamel. All are in very good condition, with wear commensurate with age and use.
