Origin Made Cast Hammer in Lacquered Cast Iron
About the Item
The hammer is one of the most primitive tools invented that is still a very useful tool today. The Cast hammer is an object of beauty and function that fulfills our basic home improvement needs such as putting nails on the wall. It is also quite satisfying to see a hammer designed to be perfectly balanced so that it can stand on its own.
This one-off piece comes in solid cast iron with a pebbled texture, and coated finish, so the hammer looks rough yet shiny at the same time. The final Cast Hammer product comes in brass material, hence this cast-iron version is the only piece available.
Experimental Editions are one-off pieces and are not exchangeable/refundable.

Origin Made
Origin Made was born as a desire to create objects with a soul. We work with family run workshops or solo artisans, pairing them with internationally recognized or up-and-coming designers to develop collectible products. We view our craftsmen as partners rather than suppliers, and we give a face to the hands that shape our products, promoting them alongside our designers. It is a brand that puts the heart in front of everything else, with a passion for the craft process that represent our intangible cultural value and heritage. We believe that the story of each object should be told from where it is born - the workshop of the craftsman - how it is made and the environment in which it is conceived. The recipient of our products deserves to know, in order to truly understand the piece they have received.
