Gabriel Girardi Art
Gabriel Girardi was born in Italy in 1938. He was the son of Nardo Girardi, known painter of the group Decalage, Girardi was a skilled draftsman. In the 50s, he was called to portrait Queen Elizabeth II of England. Currently, his artwork is held in Kensington Palace, a property of the princess Alessandra di Kent and reflects that spontaneity, constructive firmness and drawing energy, typical constants in his production. From 1959–61, Girardi devoted himself to sacred art, without leaving out profane themes. The exciting and very valid experience will then be the one in direct contact with nature, in an island of nudists: rejoining the best Italian tradition.
