Original Holland, so easy to reach by KLM vintage travel poster. Archivally linen-backed in very fine condition ready to frame. Colors are bright and vibrant. Printed in Holland by Kuhn and Zoon, Rotterdam.
Joop Geesink was a Dutch animator, filmmaker, and puppeteer known for his pioneering work in stop-motion animation and puppetry. In the mid-20th century, he created numerous advertisements, films, and promotional materials, including posters.
One of his notable works is the KLM Holland poster featuring a puppet playing the accordion while sitting on a dock with a basket of fish on the side.. This poster was likely created as part of a promotional campaign for KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) to showcase Dutch culture and traditions.
