Original 'U. S. SAVINGS BONDS will help you get there! NOW Back Your future. Linen-backed, excellent condition. Archival linen backed with original government-issued fold marks restored. Rarely seen or available.
The image features a man and wife with their son, a rainbow in the sky over to their new home. The War Advertising Council (WAC) and the Office of War Information (OWI) heavily advertised to the American public to promote compliance in War Bond buying. The work of these two organizations, along with the War Finance Committee, produced the most significant volume of advertising for one particular cause in U.S. history. An emotional appeal went out to citizens using advertising War Bonds. U. S. Government printing number:
