The tray features irregular edges that are 6 cm thick and rests on four feet connected by ties. The table has brutalist lines typical of Scandinavian design from the 1950s and is entirely removable. Olavi Hänninen was a designer who worked on various projects, including furniture, trams, church silverware, and total interior designs for many public facilities. He was well known for his modernist designs, particularly tables and chairs.
