French 19th Century Workbench
About the Item
This sturdy work table is made of solid hardwood. The top bears the marks left from many projects over the last one and a half centuries. Variations in the color and texture on the top surface are visible and what one would expect with its age and use. The top of heavy 2 ½” thick planks is supported by thick square legs and attached to a lower stretcher shelf that provides for extra storage. This workbench would go wonderfully behind a sofa or even as a functional work surface in a garage or craft area. Be sure to see the detailed images to get a closer look at the wood and its wonderful patina.
