Sculptural Gilt Metal Pendant Lamp by S. Salvadori
About the Item
A rare gilt metal pendant lamp by S. Salvadori.
The Salvadori workshop made sculptural furniture and lighting in Florence during the 1950s and 60s. Their whimsical designs often featured wheat sheaf, feather, and vine leaf motifs skilfully wrought in iron and finished with burnished gold leaf.
In excellent condition with a lovely overall patina to the gilt finish.
Retains original gilt ceiling rose. Supplied with a length of gilt brass chain and wired to specification.
36 x 33 x 33 cm (Height to top of the fixed ring)
c. 60cm drop including existing chain. Extra gilt metal chain can be supplied to match the existing chain.
