Georg Jensen Sterling Silver "Cypress" Flatware, Service for Twelve Ca. 1950s

About the Item

Modernist sterling silver flatware set in the Cypress pattern, designed by Tias Eckhoff for Georg Jensen, Denmark, circa early 1950s. We have a full service for 12: each six-piece place setting consists of a dinner knife, butter knife, dinner and salad forks, soup spoon and teaspoon. Serving pieces include gravy ladle, serving fork and two large spoons, a sugar spoon, a two-tine cold meat serving fork, a cake knife, and a two piece roast carving set. Additionally, there are twelve extra teaspoons for a total of 93 pieces. Specifically, the set consists of the following: Twelve (12) dinner forks (7.5" long); Twelve (12) salad forks (6.75" long); Twelve (12) round bowl soup (Gumbo) spoons (7" long); Twenty-four (24) "large youth" teaspoons (6"long); Twelve (12) long handle dinner knives (8 7/8" long, stainless blades); Twelve (12) flat handle butter spreaders. AND Serving pieces: One (1) solid serving fork (9 7/8" long); Two (2) solid serving spoons (9 7/8" long); One (1) sugar spoon (4 3/8" long); One (1) 2-Tine cold meat serving fork (8 1/4" long); One (1) gravy ladle (8 1/8" long); One (1) cake knife with stainless blade) (10 7/8" long); Set, Two-Piece Roast Carving Serving set (knife with stainless blade).
