About the Item
This antique biscuit barrel or box was made by the Reproduction Sheffield & Silver Plate firm of England and dates to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The server is composed of silver plate with a double shell folding sides with floral engraved decoration. The panels fold down and each has a pierced cover with a gilt washed interior. This biscuit barrel is clearly marked as composed of silver plate and "Made in England".
