Guilloche & Silver Topped Glass Scent or Perfume Bottle, London 1922

About the Item

This is a beautiful scent, cologne or perfume glass bottle with a gold coloured Guilloche enamel and sterling silver topped screw top lid, made in London, 1922 The glass crystal bottle is rectangular and comes complete with its original inner stopper. The screw top is sterling silver with a finely machined, engine turned, gold coloured Guilloche enamel top. The sterling silver is fully hall marked for London, 1922, the Art Deco Period. Overall, a very good high quality, decorative and useful piece for the collector or dressing table.

    This is a very good quality crystal cut glass cologne or perfume bottle with a sterling silver screw top lid, made in London and dating to the early Art Deco period, 1919. The clear glass bottle or jar has a rectilinear shape, having an oval section, with finely hand cut vertical sides and small panels cut on the shoulder. The sterling silver circular top is threaded for turning onto the neck section. It is finely engine turned to the top which is very decorative.
