SMOKY QUARTZ GWINDEL Les Courtes, Chamonix, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Bonneville, Haute-Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France 12 cm tall x 12 cm wide This Alpine region is most well known for pink fluorites and smoky quartz gwindels. This example has the most alluring rich chocolate color while still maintaining a near flawless appearance. The "serrated" saw tooth edges are classic twisted gwindel form. The quality, color and luster are the finest from Chamonix. *Professionally repaired with a small amount of restoration.
