The sculpture belongs to an edition of 100 pieces.
Aurelio Mistruzzi, an Italian sculptor and medalist, is well known for having made numerous Monument to the Fallen for many Friulian towns, but also for some works of sacred statuary for the Basilica del Santo in Padua and some churches in Rome.
From the early of the 20th century he frequently devoted himself to medalist and coinage, signing the coins of Pius XI and part of those of Pius XII.

Aurelio Mistruzzi
Aurelio Mistruzzi, an Italian sculptor and medalist.
