Peaceful and serene Japanese showa period four-panel byobu screen depicting a village mountain landscape with a bridge over a stream. Ink and color pigments on silk made in the Nihonga school style. Signed by artist with a seal on the right side. The screen is set in a black painted frame with a gold silk brocade border. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with age appropriate wear and fading. Minor light stains, and paper losses at joints as seen in photos. Small dark stain on silk border at bottom corner. Reverse side has losses.
