Ultra Fine Silk 1960s Ivory Vintage Dress W Draped Bodice in a Bold Blue Floral
About the Item
This exceptional vintage mid century dress is made from some of the finest silk we've come across! When I tell you that it feels like butter, I mean, literally that soft of a silk! The fabric is white with bold blue, purple and green floral print. This dress came from the finest estate we have ever had the honor of handling. This woman's closet was like a "who's who" of important 20th century fashion designers. Everything she had was outstanding. Though this is unlabeled, it is truly special and beautifully tailored. Reminiscent of the later Ceil Chapman dresses, the dress has loose ruching at the bodice. There are short cap sleeves and a center back zipper for closure. Fully lined and fits a size XS/S. Please refer to the measurements for the most accurate fit. We won't be accepting returns on this piece because of the fine silk fabric. Please feel free to as questions about fit and sizing that isn't listed here.
