A Navy Velvet Sac Dress with glass beads embroideries - France Circa 1925-1930

About the Item

Circa 1925-1930 France Unidentified Couture day dress in navy velvet and white glass bead sablé dating from the Art Deco period. A Sac dress Cut, oval neckline and long sleeves with musketeer cuffs. Very refined embroidery in sandblasted pearls with a geometric design of ethnic crosses, which was very fashionable during this period. No opening, no zip and eight black faceted buttons closing the cuffs. No lining, no label. Some missing beads, very slight colour variation of the sleeves, but no holes or visible stains. Good structural condition of the velvet. Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 37-38. Shoulders 37 cm, sleeves 60 cm, chest 85-90 cm, waist 83 cm, height 115 cm, hips 93-97 cm.
