Her work explores themes of loss, trauma, intimacy and self-discovery with a focus on personal storytelling centered around self and family. Shari has worked, wearing different hats in the realm of film and theater. Statement This image of Crossing Paris is from Sarah Hadley's series Story Lines, which explores the female interior landscape. The series was inspired by the French New Wave films of the 60’s, which were shot in black and white on the street and which often portrayed the subconscious thoughts and feelings of ordinary women.
