Steve Sangapore’s “New England, Spring #3” is a 12 x 9 inch oil painting on a panel from his “Scapes” series. This contemporary realist plein air landscape painting was painted on-site in Lincoln, MA. The painting features a difficult-to-access area of a river and marsh in a state park. The quiet and secluded area is just beginning to feel the warm of a New England spring. The trees in the background are just beginning to bud and the marshland is alive with the buzz and wildlife of spring.
This landscape painting employs calculated brush strokes which generate a strong sense of motion, light and realist accuracy.
Steve Sangapore is a graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT, where he received a B.A. in studio art and graphic design. His interest in science and philosophy has been a driving force behind his latest work. Sangapore has been published in The Boston Globe, Art Business News, Creative Quarterly, Artscope, and E-Squared Magazine. Sangapore is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.

Steve Sangapore is a contemporary painter based in Boston, MA. He is a 2013 graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT, where he earned a
duel-B.A. in studio art and graphic design. His interest in science and philosophy
has been a driving force behind much of his latest work. His unique take on
composition, subjects, and structural execution has led his paintings to be
