About the Item
These earlier works by Stan Brodsky are reminiscent of Fairfield Porter. Stan Brodsky found his path into painting through the landscape. In his paintings of the 1970's, the horizon line of various Long Island and New York landscapes finds its way into his work. A keen observer of nature, he could not but help capture the views where ever he went from city parks to mountain hikes.
