This is a large original antique 19-century oil painting on canvas depicting a rural farm landscape and genre scene - two shepherd boys drive a herd of cows to a watering-place.
Looks gorgeous in an ornate gold frame.
Presented in a period frame.
Condition: The painting has a long but not deep scratch (lower right), some minor restored areas (patches on verso), and stable craquelures due to age. The frame has some scratches and scuffs. Please look at the photos, they are part of the description.
