Lovers - Nude Couple in Bed - Figurative Composition in Acrylic on Paper
Expressive depiction of a nude couple by Byron Richard Rodarmel (American, 1932-2007). A couple is intertwined on a bed, rendered in rust reds, tans, and light browns. Their bodies are tangled together, and while it is difficult to discern the actual position of hands and limbs, there are at least three hands visible.
Signed "byron" in the lower right corner and "Byron Rodarmel",
titled "Circle 9", " 1976" on backing mat.
Presented in a gold colored aluminum frame with a double mat (new mat to be installed). Shipped with Plexi-glass

Byron held an MFA from Otis Art Institute of Los Angeles, where he studied with Richard Haines, Joseph Mugniani, Renzo Fenci and Pail Landacre. He taught art from 1971 to 1979 in San Diego Community Colleges, the San Diego Academy of Fine Arts and Studio workshops.
One Man Show at Artists Gallery Cooperative, Redondo Beach – Indiana artist, turned to serious painting upon coming to California to live and continued his studies at El Camino College, studied at Purdue University, El Camino College and Otis Art Institute with an Masters of Fine Arts,
