"Anemone" Centerpiece in Hand Hammered Tumbaga by Romoherrera

Inspired by the wonderful shapes of marine life, this anemone centerpiece is 100% hand made by expert craftsmen in Tumbaga, an alloy of copper and zinc, hand hammered, cut and bent using metal and wood lasts in the ROMOHERRERA workshops in Taxco, Mexico. This piece brings joy and wonder to your table catching the light of a candle on the golden metal surface or holding beautiful lemons or flowers, it is a piece of jewelry for your home. Using ancestral techniques passed on by generations Cristina Romo, a third generation designer, daughter of renowned artist Emilia Castillo, reinterprets the traditional art of silversmithing and brings a creative and modern twist to metalwork. Today, scenes and elements from every day life and ever evolving nature inspire her designs.
