About the Item

Elegant 120 Years old 23K Gold and Blue Ceylon Sapphire Ring. Wide Band 5 mm at widest in solid 23ct Gold + claw set natural old diamond hand-cut natural Ceylon Sapphire of light Blue or Cornflower color Ø 6.5 mm x 3 mm deep / ca. 1.25 ct. Transparent, inside there are very small inclusions typical for naturals. The pavilion shows multiple facets untypical for classic old Diamond cut, with culet, cut a bit off center. The Crown is 5.5 mm deep. Swedish ring. Marked 23K. Maker's hallmarks, Goteborg. Year marks B7 / hand-made in 1904. Used finest condition. No wear to the surface of the stone is visible. Claws with no / very minor traces of wear, apparently this ring was not used much. Engraved with monogram. Size: Ø 5.5 US / 16.1 mm.
