About the Item

Antique miniature Passover Egg pendant made in Imperial Russia between years ca. 1900 - 1917. All metal parts modeled in solid 14K Yellow Gold. Body in solid 14K Yellow Gold finished with engraved floral pattern spread around whole surface and eight -pointed star setting decorated with eight - cut Blue Glass Ø 1.5 mm that very closely imitates a Blue Sapphire. Egg is mounted on 14K Rose Gold hanger. Bail hallmarked with fragmented Russian Imperial 56 assayers mark, maker's initials / not readable. Length of the egg including the hanger is 17 mm / or without 13.5 mm x Ø 8 mm at widest. Weight : 0.8 grams Used fine condition, minor chip to facet of Blue setting , visible under x 10 magnification only . Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
