Vintage French Crystal Embellished Statement Heart Basket Earrings 1950s

About the Item

A pair of French earrings, dramatic yet delicate, gilt baskets, adorned with beautifully colored crystal beads of amber, aqua and deep blue. Truly a fabulous color combination - distinct and elegant. A fat shaped heart bejeweled gilded cage hangs from the similarly bejeweled ear clip that fits snugly on the ear of these French earrings. These two pieces are joined with miniature crystal bead loops giving an exquisite look and feel of quality and high end workmanship. The French earrings are clips, featuring a solid gilded brass clip invisible from the front of the earring. The earrings weight is substantial due to the quality materials used in their construction however are not overly heavy when worn. These stunning drop clip on French earrings are in excellent vintage condition and measure approx 2.75cm by 1.25cm wide and nearly 2cm deep. Fabulous, fun and I believe, most likely made in France during the 1950s by a quality designer. Unsigned beauties for sure.
