Antique Original French Art-Deco Platinum and Diamond Bracelet
About the Item
This antique French Art-Deco piece is truly spectacular. Unlike many re-productions, this is a genuine French art-deco Diamond and platinum bracelet from the 1920’s.
There are about 7.44 carats of diamonds. Each of the larger stones are Old European cuts (approx. .20 each) and the smaller stones are single-cuts (huit/huit). The color of all the stones are very high, about F-G. The average clarity of the stones range between VS2-SI2.
The material of the bracelet is 67 grams of solid platinum. There are multiple French hallmarks on the clasp, most have worn away due to age. The eagle hallmark indicates 18k gold and the dog head hallmark indicates platinum.
The narrowest parts of the bracelet is 0.6 inches and the widest point is 1.3 inches. The bracelet can fit up to a 6.5 inch wrist. In addition to the clip clasp, there is a safety chain to give added security.
