Original vintage travel poster for Visby Town of Ruins and Roses Sweden featuring the medieval city's historical wall with a horse drawn cart and people walking over a stone bridge through a fortress tower in front of trees and the old town buildings and church spire of Visby Cathedral (opened 1225) with the coast in the distance, the blue sea leading to the cloudy sky with pink rose flowers over the border in the foreground, the bold lettering below. Located on Gotland island in Sweden, Visby is home to one of the best-preserved Hanseatic cities in Scandinavia (a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995) and a 2.1 mile long town wall. Acceptable condition, repaired tears, small paper losses, pinholes.
