  • Original U.S James Bond 007 'Thunderball' Poster c.1965
Located in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent
A rare and original U.S release (1965) poster from the James Bond 007 blockbuster, Thunderball. A 1965 spy film and the fourth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions, starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is an adaptation of the 1961 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, which in turn was based on an original story by Kevin McClory, Jack Whittingham, and Fleming, and an original screenplay by Jack Whittingham. It was the third and final Bond film to be directed by Terence Young, with its screenplay by Richard Maibaum and John Hopkins. The movie would have been the first of the Bond series if not for legal disputes over copyright. The film follows Bond's mission to find two NATO atomic bombs stolen by SPECTRE, which holds the world for ransom of £100 million in diamonds under its threat to destroy an unspecified metropolis in either the United Kingdom or the United States (later revealed to be Miami). The search leads Bond to the Bahamas, where he encounters Emilio Largo, the card-playing, eye patch-wearing SPECTRE Number Two. Backed by CIA agent Felix Leiter and Largo's mistress, Domino Derval, Bond's search culminates in an underwater battle with Largo's henchmen. The film's complex production comprised four different units and about a quarter of the film comprised underwater scenes. Thunderball was the first Bond film shot in widescreen Panavision and the first to have a running time of over two hours. This large American billboard poster...

  • James Bond 'Moonraker' Original Vintage Australian Daybill Movie Poster, 1979
    Located in Devon, GB
Capitalising on the sci-fi space craze in the wake of 'Star Wars,' EON Productions opted to postpone filming 'For Your Eyes Only' in favour of loosely adapting Ian Fleming's 'Moonraker' as the eleventh instalment in the James Bond series. And so Roger Moore's fourth outing as agent 007 saw him head into outer space to prevent a plot to wipe out the world population and recreate humanity with a master race. Despite production costs more than double those of 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977), the space-age lark became the highest grossing 007 movie to date, until usurped by 'Goldeneye' in 1995. The Australian Daybill poster featured the same spectacular silvery artwork by American artist Daniel Goozee as the British and US poster campaigns, which pictured Bond in a spacesuit rather than his typical tux. Although a similar format, Australian day bills are significantly rarer than US insert posters.

  • James Bond 'Goldfinger' Original Vintage British Quad Movie Poster, 1964
    Located in Devon, GB
Considered the quintessential and definitive Bond film, the third instalment in EON Productions' James Bond series set the template for many of the subsequent films, with its tongue in cheek humour, extensive use of gadgets and technology and multiple foreign locations. The first Bond blockbuster, 1964's 'Goldfinger' was also the first Bond film to utilise a standalone pre-credits sequence, the first to employ a pop star to sing the theme song and the first to win an Academy Award. The plot saw 007 uncover a plot to contaminate the United States gold reserve at Fort Knox while investigating the smuggling activities of powerful gold magnate Auric Goldfinger. The film's lasting image is of the gold-painted girl, featured here on the sought after 'Style A' British Quad poster for the original UK release in 1964. Robert Brownjohn...
