Naomi Caryl Hirshhorn was an obscure artist and socialite that lived in the Hollywood Hills.
She lived a long and colorful life.
She hung-out with a lot of artist and actors of her time.
She passed away at 91 years old.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph H. Hirshhorn of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
She also amassed a collection of modern art like her dad. (Most of it went to auctions and an estate sale.)
She also had a talent with color theory and blending, as one can see in this painting.
It's a wonderful amorphic image in monochromatic hues that create an optical visual.

Great piece of California cool painting that was once exhibited at the prestigious now defunct Ankrum Gallery.
