Pair of Authentic California Fruit Crate Labels Featuring Apples. Circa 1940's
About the Item
Offered is a pair of original "Apple" fruit crate labels, circa 1940's, unused and professionally mounted in oak frames with white colored beveled matte.
The labels would have been affixed to a wooden fruit crate to identify the item and where it came from.
One apple grower is identified as "Bachan Fruit Co." from Watsonville, California and features "Premium Pajaro Valley Apples" and is predominantly colored green and red. It is in near mint condition.
The other one is promoting "Morjon" Apple products through "Connell Bros. Co. LTD" in San Francisco, California. It is also near mint and is in colors of green, blue, red and yellow.
These are not reproductions but rather authentic original items directly from the distributor/broker.
Dimensions: 15" wide x 12" high (actual label is 10 1/2" x 8 1/2")
