The artist lives and works at Gasperini on the hills between Parma and Piacenza with his beloved dogs. He began to paint in 1969. His first work was merely figurative. In the 1980s he moved closer to the “Art Brut” style. Renowned in Italy, Asveri has just finished a solo exhibition in Genoa at the Medioeval “Commenda” and will be presented in Paris next February during the Contemporary Art Fair in Port de Versailles.
