Original Black Painted Rococo Tilt Top Tea Table, Sweden circa 1820

About the Item

The aged patina of the original black paint accentuates the curves and grace of this Rococo tilt top side table. Note the top was hand painted with a traditional faux marble finish in varied layers of light blue, white and gray. The black painted finish has a warm aged patina from generations of use, distressed to reveal the natural pine wood below. Sits stable on turned pedestal tri foot base. Height with top tilted: 49.5" Restored, strong and stable. All nicks, scratches, stains, signs of wear, etc. are reflection of years of use, and simply add to the rich character of this enticing 200 year old side table.
