Material info:
Marwoolus is a new material invented by Marco Guazzini and is exclusively produced by Marco Guazzini Design S.r.l. in Italy.
?Marwoolus is a patented material and a registered trademark.
Marwoolus is a composite material made of Carrara marble powder, wool fibers and a bi-component binder.
Marwoolus is hard to the touch like marble and is water resistant.
The Fluent coffee table is available in 3 colors wool table top and structure:
blue, red and green
Please note*
The chromatic variation of the wool colour in the material depends on density and quantity of the same wool in a determined point, and its depth in the marble powder mixture.
The design determined by the wool is merely casual and one-off, that is why each and every element of material produced is unique.
Possible imperfections are part of the artisan nature making original and unique every element of this material completely handmade in Italy.
The surface finishing is opaque.

Marco Guazzini
Design as rational, conscious and profound act. The elegant gesture of the designer Marco Guazzini goes at the same pace with an innovative, meticulous, careful to the contemporary life topics, research, yet rich of inspirations that come from other ages.
After have spent few years in New York, Guazzini chose to open his atelier in Milan, where he studied Industrial Design. Here he started a path that led him to work for companies as Officinanove, Ex.t, Pimar, Atipico, Living Divani, and at the same time to collaborate with international design galleries as Galleria Luisa Delle Piane and Leclettico (Milan), Gallery S. Bensimon (Paris), Mint design gallery and Saatchi Gallery (London).
Guazzini worked as professor at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan). Marco Guazzini has created and patented the Marwoolus® material, which has been in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum since 2016. A tribute to his places of origin, which mixes Prato wool and Pietrasanta marble to obtain a completely new element, a symbol of the great freedom of expression that characterizes all the work of the Italian designer.
The result is a material that could remind you of the marble with its typical streaks but at a more detailed look it reveals its main characteristic, which is an interference pattern composed of fibers casually strewn and give fluidity to the drawing making it more dynamic, elegant and visually soft.
