About the Item

Nesting tables, model Kangourou, designed by Mathieu Matégot. The design dates to 1954. It is made from powder coated performed aluminium, a technique that Matégot invented a few years earlier and named it Rigitulle and became his trademark. Reissue by Gobi. lacquered in yellow and black Two tables with the smallest interlocks in the largest. When the tables are nested inside, the light passes through, reflecting half-moon shadows on the ground below, when they are separated, two full moons are reflected Why a kangaroo? this table is made up of two tables, one fitting inside the other one – just like a kangaroo carries her joey in her pouch. .
