- Sprig Side Table by ChaabanBy CHAABANLocated in Dubai, DUThe simple and sweet, "Sprig"side table by Chaaban Design. Sprig Side Table - Cast in Solid Bronze Inspired by silhouettes found in nature, CHAABAN sought to create a line of unique bronzewares and premium home furnishings. Our collection has been hand-crafted with a specific focus on capturing the details seen in branches, trunks, and barks. Natural edges, grains, splits, and cracks are interpreted and preserved using traditional bronze casting methods, successfully blending art and function with the permanence of bronze. Introduced to the world of design in 2016, Brian Chaaban has spent the past few years curating a collection of premium bronzewares. Pulling inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding his hometown of Los Angeles, his self-titled collection “CHAABAN” focuses on forms, shapes, and details found in nature. “I have always been drawn to the outdoors– whether it be through hiking trails or swimming in the ocean, there is such an indescribably tranquil energy about our natural world.” – Brian Capturing and preserving this natural energy has been the ethos behind each piece in our bronze line, most of which begin from a hand-carved block of wood. Upon perfecting the original model, the piece finds its following form when cast in solid bronze, using a nearly 6000-year-old method known as lost wax casting. Once cast, we hand-patinate each piece until it is then ready to be released into the world for adornment. Artistic inspiration for the collection is drawn from the raw and brutalist styles of Paul Evans, and Harry Balmer as well as the modernism sculptures...Category

- Side Table in the Manner of Pierre ChareauBy Pierre ChareauLocated in London, GBStunning table after Pierre Chareau originally designed for the Club-House of the Beauvallon Golf Hôtel in 1928 . The table has a wooden top, supported by a riveted steel base. Completed in 1928, the Club-House of the Beauvallon Golf Hôtel represented the first major commission for Pierre Chareau in collaboration with the Dutch architect Bernard Bijvoet. The white-painted cement-rendered club-house was an asymmetric structure executed in the prevailing Modernist style, and comprised of a kitchen, a bar-dining area, and an open terrace. With the exception of fully-upholstered seating that was reserved for use in the interior, the majority of furnishings expressed Chareau's creative interest in the use of steel and iron for furniture manufacture. These included a variety of occasional tables and iron-framed chairs with woven cane seats, designed for use on the open terrace. This commission was amongst the first to illustrate the intensive working relationship between Pierre Chareau and the metal-worker with whom he exclusively collaborated, Louis Dalbet. In good original condition, some shrinkage to the circular top.
