ABOUT
A Danish mid-century modern coffee table constructed from solid Brazilian Rosewood with floating smoked-glass top.
Featuring rich variegated wood grains unique to Rosewood with intricate finger joinery. The original smoked-glass top sits on small wooden pegs and small glass divots designed to anchor the glass to the slight wooden frame.

DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1960s.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Brazilian Rosewood, Glass.
CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor wear on the top. No chips or large scratches.

His designs were produced by a wide variety of small and large Danish manufacturers, including Komfort, Vinde Møbelfabrik, Jørgensen & Nissen, Brenderup Møbelfabrik, Hans Hansen, Kolds Savvaerk and Falster Møbelfabriken.
