18th C. English George II Mahogany And Oak Wine Stand
About the Item
An authentic Period George II mixed wood Wine Stand with fine traditional form. The Stand has a fine grained mahogany top and is supported by a turned oak vasiform column terminating in sinuous legs having carved fluted insets.
The Wine Stand measures 19.25 diameter by 27.5” high.
Condition: There is some various age-related wear including some scratches, stains, rubs and spots of finish loss to the top surface and some time softened edge nicks as well as a chip to the edge and also to one of the legs which do not detract from the authentic and quite elegant presentation. Please see photos for details of condition.
