Early Georgian Period Oak Server with Cabriole Legs

About the Item

A long formal console table from the early 1700's. This piece boasts lots of period detail, including gracious pad feet, a whimsical scalloped apron, curved cabriole legs and original fretted brass escutcheons. The oak has good color and patina. Inset panels at either end. The interior of the drawers and one of the back feet (shown) show some age apprropriate wear. Otherwise the piece is in very good antique condition.
