Wall Unit ‘Module’ by Kho Liang Ie for Fristho
About the Item
Wall unit ‘Module’ designed in 1956 by Kho Liang Ie for the Dutch furniture company Fristho.
The wall unit is made of beech and dark grey painted wood and consists of shelves, a storage compartment and a secretary element. In good vintage condition with wear and tear corresponding with age and use, mainly on the door of the storage compartment.
Although the company logo says that the wall unit is designed by Kho Liang Ie and Wim Crouwel, we know that the work of these designers was strictly separated and that only Liang Ie did all furniture design.
Please note that this ‘Module’ wall unit is extremely! rare.
