George IV Mahogany Bowfront Chest, Splayed Feet, Druce & Co, English, ca. 1830

A George IV Period Bowfront Chest in Figured mahogany, with four graduated and cock-beaded drawers, the top with a molded edge, on a shaped apron base and graceful splayed feet (original), with hand-forged brass bail pulls (original), with oak drawer linings; metal maker's badge to the interior top drawer, 'DRUCE & CO, LTD, CABINET MAKERS, BAKER STREET, PORTMAN SQUARE, LONDON W,' English, ca. 1830. A beautifully proportioned signed, small Period chest in original condition, recently French polished and detailed in our onsight workshop.
