Italian, Emilia Romagna, Walnut and Inlaid Secretary Cabinet, 2nd half 19th cen.

About the Item

Of two piece construction, the upper section having an arched and open pediment with double drawers between canted corners, the outside surface with pattern inlays, the doors opening to reveal a glass drop down bar front (a later addition) and glass shelving, the lower section with a drop front opening to rest on extendable slides and revealing interior compartments, the construction with canted corners flanking two large drawers with two corner doors, raised on bracket feet
