This is an antique music cabinet. An English, walnut and glass display case or bookcase, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Of delightful quality with a highly attractive finish
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select walnut stocks show fine grain interest with rich caramel hues
Original glazed door in good order, with clear bright appearance
Galleried top presents an ormolu brass rail with chased pattern detail
Large glazed door provides a clear view of the interior, ideal for displaying collectibles
Dressed with a circular brass twist handle over a quarterfoil backplate
Cabinet arranged as a suite of four graduated shelves with generous space within
Each shelf resplendent in the original velvet fabric, with appealing tactility
