White Swedish Gustavian Stool With Saber Legs, circa 1840

About the Item

This Swedish stool or tabouret has graceful saber legs and applied carving along the skirt and legs which adds an elegant touch. Restored, solid/stable and ready to be enjoyed. Later professionally painted in layered shades of antique white, all lightly distressed and rubbed to fit the age and grace of this lovely stool. Seat is covered in flax colored linen and double self piping. This will be easy to re-upholster at discretion of buyer. All scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this delightful stool.
