Vintage Theodore Alexander Regency Caned Mahogany Settee With Down Cushion
About the Item
An elegant, Regency style vintage Theodore Alexander caned settee bench with luxurious champagne velveteen and silk down seat cushion. Bench can be used with or without the cushion. Strong and sturdy, ready for many years of use. Theodore Alexander (TA) antique brass oval plaques on the back rest. Handcaning is in good condition. Minor scuffing along back edge, see last photo, due to use.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Small random scuffs in the wood. Caning is in good condition. Front legs were replaced by a skilled woodworker at some point in time.
