Poul M. Volther, “Corona” Easy Chair, Special Edition for Arken Art Museum

About the Item

A pair available of the classic Danish design icon "Corona" chairs in orange fabric and frame. Designed by Poul M. Volther for Erik Jørgensen in 1964. These were made as a custom order for Arken Art Museum in Aarhus, Denmark in the 1990s. This makes them a rare collectible item made in very few examples. Sold individually and as a set. These beautiful lounge chairs will complement many interior styles. A modern, antique, classic, Scandinavian or an Art Deco home decor. With a heavy focus on functionality, this design style leans toward modernism, while incorporating coziness. The Scandinavian design style aims to provide a way for people to live more sustainably and in harmony with one another.
