Otto Schulz, A Pair of Lounge Chairs, Jio Möbler, Swedish Modern, 1950s

About the Item

An amazing pair of lounge chairs by the famous German born furniture designer Otto Schulz for Jio Möbler in Jönköping, Sweden. This pair is from the 50s and they both remain in a really good vintage condition, with the original flower motif fabric. Schulz’s furniture was very modern – and at the same time often inspired by older styles such as late baroque. His design was so original that he even patented some of his techniques. His daring aesthetic has a multifaceted character and has contributed important elements to both the Swedish Grace and Swedish Modern eras. These extraordinarily easy chairs will complement many interior styles. A modern, antique, classic, Scandinavian or an Art Deco home decor.
