Japanese Antique Wooden Chair / 1912s-1926s / Japandi

About the Item

This is an old wooden Japanese chair. Zelkova is used for both frames and sheets. The square form has a very simple impression. An iron rod is used to support the legs, which is a rare construction. It seems to be from the Taisho period. It is a style that makes you feel the Taisho romantic interior that combines Western architecture and Japanese-style architecture. The Japanese-Western eclectic atmosphere, such as Western sofas and tables in a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, is unique, but also has an elegant impression. Weight: 6.5kg
